According to Mundo Deportivo, Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, wishes for Kylian Mbappe to participate in the upcoming Olympic Games with the French national team.
Real Madrid is set to be one of the busiest clubs in the summer as they plan to bring in superstar Kylian Mbappe. However, at this stage, Mbappe’s future remains undecided, and it is likely that any negotiations will be postponed until after the conclusion of the 2024 Olympics. Currently, Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, is reportedly persuading Mbappe to participate in the Olympic Games held in his home country, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Former striker Thierry Henry is currently in charge of leading the French Olympic football team and has expressed his support for Kylian Mbappe joining them.
“We know that Real Madrid is an institution. You have to be where you are, send an email to find out if you can set up an appointment following the rules,” Henry said in March.
Currently, Mbappe has hinted that he will comply with whatever his parent club, in this case potentially Real Madrid, asks of him. It will be exciting to see if Mbappe makes an appearance at the Olympics.
