In the Western Conference of the NBA, the race for playoff positioning and the play-in tournament has been highly competitive and intense.

After six months of intense competition, the NBA Regular Season 2023-24 has reached its final series of games. All 30 teams will be divided into 15 matchups scheduled to take place in two time slots in the early morning of Monday, April 15th.

To ensure fairness for the Play-in race and the NBA Playoffs, all games within the same conference will be played simultaneously. Seven Eastern Conference matchups will tip-off at 12:10 AM, while seven Western Conference games will start at 2:30 AM.

Before entering the final set of games in the NBA Regular Season 2024, here are the things that have been determined:

The only matchup confirmed for the NBA Playoffs up to this point is between the LA Clippers (4) and the Dallas Mavericks (5) in the Western Conference. In a total of four Play-in Tournament games, only the matchup between the Chicago Bulls (9) and the Atlanta Hawks (10) in the Eastern Conference has been determined.

Teams no longer in contention for the playoffs include the Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, and Portland Trail Blazers.
