In an interview, Scott McTominay described how hard Premier League football players exercise in the gym.
The massive 6ft 3in athlete has had an excellent start to the season for Manchester United. He’s scored five Premier League goals, two of which helped United overcome Chelsea 2-1 in early December.
McTominay posted an Instagram snapshot of his toned body while working out late at night ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Now, the 27-year-old has revealed how he drastically altered his physique. He claimed that his former Manchester United teammate, Paul Pogba, told him about muscle growth.
The Scotland international told FourFourTwo, “I think people would be shocked if they knew how hard players work in the gym and how high of an intensity you have to be to push yourself to reach those goals.”

McTominay played 24 games for United last season, although the Dutch manager only started him ten times. He was apparently in talks with West Ham over the summer to increase his playing time.
