The expiration of Kylian Mbappé’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season has sparked speculation about a potential mega-transfer to Real Madrid. However, FC Bayern star Jamal Musiala has made efforts to entice the French goalscorer to join the Bavarian club.
During an interview with FC Bayern TV, when asked about the best fit for Mbappé, Musiala humorously responded by saying, “He can come to FC Bayern.” He went on to suggest that if given the chance, Mbappé should spend his time in Munich, emphasizing that he would be a valuable asset to any team and it would be preferable to have him on one’s own team rather than facing him as an opponent.
Musiala’s sentiments are shared by others at FC Bayern, including former chairman Oliver Kahn, who expressed the club’s ability to consider top talents like Mbappé. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel also acknowledged the rumors but expressed skepticism about their feasibility.
Although Mbappé is set to become a free agent in the summer, securing his services would come with a hefty price tag. Rumors suggest that he earns an astonishing sum of around 100 million euros per season at PSG. Real Madrid, Bayern’s upcoming Champions League opponents, have been actively pursuing a transfer for Mbappé for several years, and this summer could potentially see the deal finalized with the Spanish giants.
