PSG have announced their registered squad of 23 players for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Dortmund. Manager Luis Enrique has nearly all of his best players at his disposal, including Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Lee Kang In, and Achraf Hakimi. The significant absence is versatile defender Lucas Hernandez, who is out long-term due to a torn ligament.
Will there be another comeback?
PSG suffered a 0-1 defeat to Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park in the first leg. However, a one-goal deficit can easily be overcome. Returning to the Parc des Princes, the team led by manager Luis Enrique is expected to mount a comeback.
Recall in the quarter-finals, PSG lost 2-3 to Barcelona in the first leg but then won convincingly with a 4-1 victory in the second leg on Spanish soil. If they successfully come back in this match, PSG will be the first team in the history of the Champions League to reach the final after losing the first leg in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
Hope lies with Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe is undoubtedly the most anticipated star for PSG. The French forward has directly contributed to 32 goals in 31 home appearances in the Champions League (21 goals, 11 assists). It is fair to say that Mbappe knows how to shine on the prestigious European stage.
