Dortmund triumphed 2-0 on aggregate, with manager Edin Terzic boasting two clean sheets following the encounter, which included two strong defensive performances from the German side.

A lot of experts named Sancho Player of the Match after his brilliance in the first leg in Dortmund last week, and he put on a more subdued display this time, routinely tracking back to help his side defend as they reached their first final since 2011.

And the Manchester United man didn’t hold back when it came to letting off steam after the game, with footage from inside the away dressing room showing the winger at the center of the squad’s celebration.

In a video posted to Instagram by the official Borsussia Dortmund account, Sancho is shown holding a giant speaker while the rest of the squad watches, singing along to Adele’s Someone Like You.

The squad is in full voice, with some too exhausted to stand and others enjoying a break and consuming various beverages.

The video then goes to Sancho walking up onto the table in the center of the room, speaker still in one and phone in the other.

He can be seen wandering around the table, embracing his teammates, and reaching for the stars as he continues to sing Adele’s classic.

The Champions League final might be Sancho’s final game for Dortmund after a stellar loan stay from United that began in January, with Dortmund manager Edin Terzic reticent to discuss a possible permanent deal for Sancho before Tuesday’s game.

After a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho was kicked out of the first squad and ordered to practice with the young team as he refused to apologize.

Sancho practically labeled Ten Hag a liar on social media after the Dutchman openly questioned his training standards, and his United career appears to be over, despite having two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag is under increasing pressure following an unimpressive season under his leadership, and Rio Ferdinand, speaking on TNT Sports, claimed Sancho may return to Manchester if Ten Hag leaves the club.

‘I think the only way he goes back is if Erik ten Hag isn’t there,’ Ferdinand explained. ‘I don’t think they can undercut the manager without an apology, and I believe the manager must leave before Sancho can return to Manchester United.

Co-pundit Owen Hargreaves added: “If you pair him with the players, they have the potential to grow into something really big.” Jadon might be a part of that, and he should be enthusiastic about it.

Sancho had also taken part in the on-field celebrations at the Parc de Princes, with Dortmund players going over to the away end inside the stadium at the final whistle.

The players wore shirts with the words ‘yellow wall’ to represent their fan base, and their defensive performance earned the squad the same nickname on Tuesday.

Ferdinand had predicted that INEOS, United’s new minority ownership group led by billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, would challenge Sancho’s achievement this season.
