Despite leaving Manchester United last summer, Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea has consistently shown his loyalty to the Old Trafford club. David de Gea has been spotted training in Manchester United attire once again as he seeks a return to the pitch. De Gea’s last appearance was in the FA Cup final loss to Manchester City at Wembley last season. Since then, the 33-year-old has been keeping fit and waiting for a suitable club. De Gea has shared some videos of his dedicated training sessions. Recently, David De Gea posted a photo of himself at Altrincham training ground with the caption: “I will be back.” The former Manchester United star once again expressed his sentiments for the Red Devils. In recent photos, David De Gea is seen training and spotted wearing MU training gear. This is not the first time De Gea has done so; the Spanish goalkeeper also did the same last month. De Gea’s choice of attire is particularly intriguing as the British media has speculated his swift return to Old Trafford amidst goalkeeper Andre Onana’s difficult start at MU. Ultimately, there has been no reunion contract between MU and De Gea. Several other clubs have also been linked with David De Gea. Bayern Munich and Newcastle were previously reported to be interested in offering De Gea a contract, considering Manuel Neuer and Nick Pope’s injuries. More recently, several Spanish clubs have been linked with De Gea, including Real Betis. De Gea’s move to Saudi Arabia is also a possibility. Erik ten Hag provided insightful commentary earlier in the season on why MU chose to part ways with the Spanish goalkeeper who served 12 years at Old Trafford.
