PSG coach Luis Enrique has revealed the club’s plans for the upcoming transfer window to prepare for the post-Kylian Mbappe era.
PSG has once again ended the season as the top club in France after clinching the Ligue 1 title and confirming their second trophy of the season with a 2-1 victory over Lyon in the French Cup final, marking Mbappe’s final match with Les Parisiens before moving to Real Madrid. Speaking to the press, Luis Enrique told reporters, “How will we replace Mbappe? Four, five, six signings… Whatever we can do. The replacement for Kylian will be the team, along with the fans we have and the ambition of this club to win everything we will strive for in the coming seasons, and we will see if we can do it or not.
“This is a big challenge for any player who wants to come here. We want to make history.” The club will eventually win the long-awaited Champions League title. It may take several years, but there is no doubt that the club will win the Champions League in the future.” PSG has been linked with several players in the summer transfer window, including Napoli’s duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen, among others. They will seek to sign at least one prominent player to prepare for the upcoming season and compete for their first-ever Champions League title.
