In a surprising development, emerging NBA prоspect Bronny James is reportedly planning to visit only a select few teams ahead of next month’s draft – and two of those teams happen to be his father LeBron’s Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the 19-year-old guard is garnering serious interest from the Suns, who hold the 22nd overall pick in the draft. “The Suns have the No. 22 overall pick in the draft, and he’s under consideration there among a lot of players at 22,” Charania revealed on the Run It Back FanDuel TV show.

But Bronny’s potential destinations may not end there. Charania went on to note that the young prоspect is expected to visit only “two or three teams” leading up to the draft, and the Lakers and Suns are reportedly among them.

This development has inevitably fueled speculation about the possibility of Bronny James reuniting with his father in the NBA. LeBron has openly expressed a desire to play alongside his son before retiring, and being drafted by the Lakers would provide that opportunity.

However, Charania cautioned that Bronny’s ultimate draft position will hinge on factors like “the developmental plan” and “guaranteed money,” whether that’s in the late first round or early second round.
