The Nike Air Max Plus is poised for a significant year ahead, with several classic colorways of the iconic runner set to make a return to store shelves in the near future. Moreover, it seems that the brand is gearing up to release Mercurial cleats inspired by the Air Max Plus, if recent images are any indication.
Earlier today, Kylian Mbappé, the star forward of Paris Saint-Germain and a Nike endorser, was spotted at Campus PSG sporting an unreleased Nike Mercurial colorway that draws inspiration from the renowned “Voltage Purple” Air Max Plus. These cleats boast a one-piece upper mirroring its running counterpart, while a distinctive “ZM Plus” badge adorns the heel.
In addition to the Air Max Plus-inspired Mercurial, it appears that Nike has plans to unveil an Air Force 1-themed Tiempo cleat in the near future, as leaked images of the footwear were shared by @Kicksdong on Instagram.
As of now, Nike has not announced an official release date for the Air Max Plus-inspired Mercurial. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting development.
