Just over a year after its first release, Nike has finally unveiled the much awaited volume 2 of the Liverpool FC x LeBron James capsule collection. This newest version features a chic black, blue, and gold colour combination that blends traditional basketball aesthetics with the newest football-inspired patterns.

 

Nike is still utilising the star power that first united LeBron James and Liverpool under the Swoosh brand, building on the success of the first drop. The collection transcends the bounds of both sports to create a synthesis that is genuinely unique by skillfully fusing aspects from both basketball and football styles.

 

A variety of items are included in the chapter 2 collection, such as t-shirts, basketball jerseys, shorts, football jackets, and black short-sleeve stadium jerseys. Gold accents draw attention to well-known quotes from LeBron James and Liverpool FC. “Strive for greatness” is LeBron’s personal motto, while “you’ll never walk alone” honours the long-standing LFC motto.

 

The Nike NXXT Gen Amplified trainers by LFC and LeBron are some of the collection’s most notable items. As a tribute to LeBron’s hometown, these sneakers have an Akron-inspired sole and AirZoom cushioning for the best possible comfort and performance.
