From his arrival on Merseyside on July 1, 2018, Fábio Henrique Tavares, also known as Fabinho, has left the club and hasn’t looked back.

Even before Fabinho joined the team, Liverpool was a formidable team and he had established himself as a standout player on a competitive Monaco team. But together, the team and the player have advanced to a new level, enhancing each other so well that Fabinho is now regarded as one of the best holding midfielders in the world and Liverpool is poised to win their first domestic league championship in thirty years. 

We spoke with the Brazilian at the Predator 20+ Mutator launch event at Arsenal’s Academy, where he was preparing for his impending return to action after a protracted ιnjury layoff. He shared his thoughts with us about Liverpool’s current success as well as the new generation silo, having played for the Predators himself.

We’ve basically played this way since I got to Liverpool, and I absolutely enjoy the way we play. I adore the crew and I’m hoping we can maintain the current level of output and pace. When you play for the top teams, this is what is expected of you, and the thrill of victory turns into an addiction.

It seems like something that has been evolving for a while. Each player is well-known to the others. We had a great season the previous year, but we were unlucky not to win the league. Nevertheless, we’ve moved on and are even more motivated to reach our objectives this year, as evidenced by the accomplishments we have already made. Thus, the only thing left to do is maintain the good work we have already begun. The best teams are defined by their consistency, thus we need to maintain the highest standards in every game because there is a very narrow margin separating league winners from runners-up.

They were both very dissimilar from one another. distinct opponents and teams. It seemed like one loss after the first leg of the Monaco match, but it felt like two versus Barcelona. The first leg defeat was really crushing. Because of this, I would have to sаy that the match between Liverpool and Barcelona was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

As we get ready for each game, we don’t really talk about that right now. Liverpool is accustomed to winning championships, so the supporters are looking forward to this. However, we will continue working. We should be able to accomplish that this season, in my opinion, and I hope we can give the Liverpool supporters something truly memorable.

Yes, definitely, quite a bit. Liverpool is an extremely unique team. We can observe the unique nature of the relationship and the fervour of the supporters when we are out in public. Meeting our supporters is always a unique experience. Simply walking across the city and interacting with Liverpool supporters has made myself and my family feel so welcome and upbeat.

I have memories of athletes like Kaka and Steven Gerrard donning them and consistently turning up memorable performances. Because of the spectacular occasions they have been a part of, The Predator will always be associated with legendary athletes.
