As known, Manchester United is planning to strengthen their defense this summer with a high-quality center-back. According to Florian Plettenberg’s confirmation, they are still targeting Matthijs De Ligt. Additionally, their list of targets includes two promising young center-backs, Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro.
The Sky Sports columnist stated: “I am informed that Matthijs de Ligt remains a transfer target for Manchester United this summer, as previously revealed. The 24-year-old player is one of several names being discussed internally, alongside Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro.”
“Erik ten Hag still admires De Ligt, who could leave Bayern this summer with a suitable offer. There have been no offers from Man Utd yet. Specific negotiations between Bayern and De Ligt will take place after EURO. Currently, Man Utd’s valuation for De Ligt is around 50 million euros.”
