Reports suggest Marseille are interested in Greenwood, and United might consider a loan with an option to buy. Greenwood wants clarity on his future before the 2024/25 season begins.

Van Nistelrooy, the former player, has joined Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff after a year away from football. He was photographed arriving at Carrington.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana has also been spotted returning for training.
