Ten Hag treats Van Nistelrooy and Hake, the new Dutch Man Utd managers, to dinner before the new season begins

ERIK TEN HAG hosted a meal in Cheshire to officially welcome his new coaching staff to Manchester United.

Together with newly appointed coaches Ruud van Nistelrooy, 48, and Rene Hake, 52, the Red Devils manager went out to eat.

At Old Trafford, United has been reorganising since minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe arrived.

And the Manchester giants have added two new members to their backroom staff: Hake and Van Nistelrooy. The club announced their signings earlier today.

The three Dutch players will be combining their footballing expertise in the hopes of building on Man Utd’s FA Cup victory from the previous season.

Before their nation’s Euro 2024 semi-final matchup with England, the football brains went out for a bite to eat, arriving in time for kickoff.

As the Dutch team was eliminated from the competition, the three coaches, regrettably, won’t have had much time to enjoy the football.

Harry Kane’s penalty in the first half negated Xavi Simons’ early goal for the Netherlands.

Before making his brief appearance count, suρer sub Ollie Watkins secured the Three Lions’ place in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final against Spain with a breathtaking 90th-minute goal.

At United this summer, there have been other changes besides coaching hires.

Additionally, executives have started to arrive to help the club change course.

Earlier this month, Dan Ashworth, the former head of Newcastle, officially became the new sporting director of Manchester United.

Ashworth will presumably be in charge of Man Utd’s operations, recruiting, and football performance overall.

Ashworth will be the new technical director Jason Wilcox’s boss. Wilcox joined the 20-time Premier League champions in April.

The two aren’t the only fresh faces in Ratcliffe’s updated aesthetic.

Later this month, Omar Berrada, the former chief executive of Manchester City, is anticipated to join the team.
