Before he ended his career, Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo desired to play a competitive match with his son, Cristiano Jr

Following a poor Euro 2024 campaign, Cristiano Ronaldo has disclosed his final career goal before retiring.

Despite breаking all previous records to compete in the sixth European Championship, Ronaldo had a lackluster tournament, failing to score and drawing criticism for his antics as well as his performances.

France eliminated Portugal in the quarterfinals in penalties, when Joao Felix made a costly error.

According to reports, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner still hopes to compete in the North American World Cup in 2026.

When the competition comes around, Ronaldo will be in his 40s, but there is another reason why the Al Nassr star wants to play on.

Former Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu claims that his son Cristiano Jr. is itching to play a competitive match against the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player.

The 14-year-old, who was in the Juventus and United youth systems, is training at the Al Nassr academy two years older than his actual age.

After seeing Ronaldo back in May, Mutu thinks it’s conceivable for a father and son to play together.

That’s what really drives him, Mutu stated. He doesn’t give up since he wants to play an official match with his boy.

“Well, it is feasible at Al Nassr. It would be harder if he was at, sаy, Real Madrid or any other team.

“However, I don’t think it’s impossible to play a half (together) in a year.”

Cristiano Jr is seen as a real talent with an eye for goal and he himself has already expressed a desire to share the pitch with his dad.

In 2022, Ronaldo said: “My son tells me, ‘Dad hold on a few more years – I want to play with you.’

“Only time will tell. I will never pressure him [to play football]. He will do what he wants.”
