Kylian Mbappe wasted no time settling into life at Real Madrid by moving into Gareth Bale’s former £9 million mansion in the exclusive town of La Finca, just eight miles north of Madrid’s city center. Mbappe, who joined the Spanish champions on a stunning free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, is regarded as one of the world’s top players with an impressive record of 256 goals in 308 matches for PSG.
Real Madrid, under Carlo Ancelotti, are hoping Mbappe’s arrival will lead to further success following their recent league and European double. The mansion, previously owned by Bale, features eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a six-car garage, a large swimming pool, and a cinema room. Outside amenities include a football field, basketball court, and golf course installed by Bale during his tenure.
Security at the property is top-notch, with features like facial recognition technology, a double perimeter gate with cameras, and a police-linked alarm system. Mbappe will also benefit from 24-hour security guards patrolling the premises.
The luxury property was sold by Realizza, a prestigious agency known for catering to VIP clients, including politicians, artists, footballers, and prominent families seeking exclusivity, tranquility, and security. Bale originally purchased the mansion for £6.5 million upon his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013. After putting it on the market in 2022 upon his departure to LAFC in the United States, it was previously rented by Brazilian legend Kaka for several years.
