Carlo Ancelotti has indicated that Kylian Mbappe will need to adapt to Real Madrid’s new “galactic galaxy” equation. The manager faces the crucial task of integrating Mbappe into an already potent attacking lineup featuring Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham. Up to now, the 25-year-old has primarily operated from the left flank, but Vinicius has made that position his own, meaning Ancelotti may need to devise a new tactical system for the 2024-2025 season.

Speaking at the Giffoni Film Festival when asked about Mbappe’s role, Ancelotti stated, “My responsibility is to find a position for Mbappe. We will find a place for him, we will fit him in.” Reports from Spain suggest Ancelotti is considering moving Mbappe to a more central role to maximize attacking efficiency and balance. Vinicius will continue on the left flank, with Rodrygo expected to operate on the opposite wing. Meanwhile, Bellingham is predicted to play deeper in midfield and could even replace the retired German legend Toni Kroos after EURO 2024.

Mbappe is currently enjoying a well-deserved break after a demanding 2023-2024 season with PSG and the French national team. He is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta on August 14, following a full recovery from a nasal injury sustained during EURO 2024.
