When Ten Hag departs, De Gea, 33, is ‘ready to rejoin Man Utd as he eyes transfer’

According to sources, DAVID DE GEA was prepared to rejoin Manchester United in the event that Erik ten Hag left, but he is now expected to join another team.

After being released by United last summer, the Spanish goalkeeper had a year off, but he is getting ready to play again.

The goalkeeper’s 12-year tenure at Old Trafford came to an end when his contract expired following the 2022–2023 season.

Legendary player David De Gea of United and the Premier League didn’t get the farewell he deserved because his future was still up in the air during the season.

The Spaniard was angry with people who, in his opinion, should have known better.

specifically John Murtough, the club’s football director at the time, and manager Erik ten Hag.

According to The Athletic, De Gea even admitted to his inner circle that he would be happy to return to United if those two individuals were no longer there.

Hоwever, Ten Hаg will cоntinue аs mаnаger fоr а thirԀ seаsоn аfter INEоS’s mоnth-lоng hunt fоr а suitаble replаcement cаme tо аn enԀ.

Murtough was forced out by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s group, and Dan Ashworth, the sporting director of Newcastle United, took his position.

Chief executive Richard Arnold is among the high-ranking officials who have left Old Trafford, including Murtough.

In addition to Christopher Vivell being United’s new director of global talent and Jason Wilcox being named technical director, Omar Berrada left Manchester City to take Arnold’s place.

Even with Murtоugh’s depаrture, De Geа is nоt likely tо return tо оld Trаffоrd, even thоugh he is expected tо reveаl his new club sооn.

Richard Hartis, the former goalkeeping coach at United until last week, recommended a goalkeeping coach, with whom he trains three or four times a week.

When the Spaniard tweeted an hourglass emoji on Saturday, he hinted at an announcement, but the social media message contained no further details.

According to The Athletic, De Gea has a number of choices available to him, including teams in Saudi Arabia, America, and Italy.

Though there’s a chance he’ll stay in Europe, the West Coast of the United States is his ideal location.

De Gea is ranked eighth all-time in United’s history with 545 appearances.
