adidas has revealed the new away kit for Manchester United for the 2024/25 season, blending historical nods with modern design elements. The kit is a royal blue masterpiece, featuring an all-over embossed “M” graphic that celebrates Manchester, the city the club calls home.
The design incorporates a textured, navy-blue base adorned with circular patterns, echoing the 3D monograms seen on Manchester United kits from the past three decades. This aesthetic pays homage to the three rivers flowing through Manchester—the Irk, Medlock, and Irwell—highlighting the club’s connection to the city’s geography and history.
Design and Features
The royal blue kit includes three lighter shades of blue in the polo collar, symbolizing the rivers and creating a visual link between fans, players, and the club’s heritage. Silver detailing adorns the iconic adidas three stripes down each shoulder, along with the adidas and sponsor logos, and a special Manchester United Devil emblem on the back of the collar, adding a premium touch to the design.
Performance Technology
The away kit is designed with cutting-edge adidas technology to support player performance. The on-field version utilizes HEAT.RDY technology, which enhances air flow to keep players cool under pressure. Meanwhile, the fan version is equipped with AEROREADY technology, featuring sweat-wicking materials to ensure comfort and dryness.

Both the player and fan versions of the jersey are available for purchase online at United Direct and can also be found in person at the Megastore at Old Trafford and selected adidas retail stores.
