Jude Bellingham: Adidas unveils its very first signature collection

Unlucky at the Euro, consoled by his equipment supplier. Jude Bellingham and his technical partner Adidas are revealing this Friday morning the first exclusive collection shared by the two; the Real Madrid player becoming for the occasion one of the rare footballers in activity to have the honor of a signature collection in his name and image.

A first signature collection in the young career of Jude BellinghamThe Bellingham Originals range is intended to be premium and reflects the personal style of the player. It consists of several pieces, including a lifestyle jersey inspired by the Adidas archives of the 80s and 90s, a ringer t-shirt, retro shorts and a tracksuit. The set sports a white, blue and red color palette, in homage to the colors of the English national team.

A new “JB” logo, based on Bellingham’s signature, adorns each piece alongside the famous Adidas trefoil. The monogram, designed to be recognisable and versatile, will be used on the player’s future collections.

“It’s a dream come true to launch my first collection with Adidas,” said Jude Bellingham. “Growing up, Adidas has always been an iconic brand for me, so to have my own collection alongside other legends is a huge honour. I loved working with the design team – they really captured my style and what I like to wear off the pitch. This first series is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what we create together next.”

“Jude’s talent on the pitch is undeniable, but his eye for fashion and authentic personality really resonated with us. This signature collection is not just about creating sought-after leisurewear, but celebrating a generational athlete who embodies the spirit of Adidas Originals.” Working directly with Jude throughout the design process allowed each piece to reflect his unique style, making this collaboration something truly special,” adds Adidas’ Head of Product and Design, Sam Handy.

On a par with Lionel Messi

This move places Jude Bellingham, who became an Adidas Premium Player last season, in a very select group of elite athletes, with Messi the only other active footballer to have his own Adidas range (France’s Paul Pogba also had the same privilege a few years ago when he was at Manchester United). At just 20 years old, Bellingham is cementing his status as a rising star, both on the pitch and in the world of sports fashion.
