You’ve been in England for nearly 18 months now. How’s it been?

I feel fantastic. From day one, I’ve been really pleased with how the club and the fans have welcomed me. It’s been wonderful, and I’m very grateful to the city and the supporters. I feel at home and relaxed here.casemiro 3-min.jpg

Have you explored Manchester or other parts of the UK?

Honestly, I’m more of a homebody. I haven’t explored much, though I’ve tried some local restaurants. I prefer spending time at home with my family, where I feel most comfortable.

What drew you to Old Trafford and Manchester United?

What captivated me was the atmosphere and energy of Old Trafford. I was impressed by the level of support from fans, both at home and away games. Even when we’re losing, the support never wavers. That was a pleasant surprise and showed me how committed the fans are.

The club has a storied history. Do you feel extra pressure to contribute to its legacy?

Pressure is always a part of football, but here, the drive to win and grow is strong. We’re in a phase of development, and that’s what we need to focus on. Having played for Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team, I’m used to pressure. It’s part of the game.

With your extensive success at Real Madrid, how do you stay motivated?

That’s why I came to Manchester United—to seek new challenges and learn in a different environment. I wanted to help my new teammates and continue evolving, and that’s been my main objective since arriving.casemiro 2-min.jpg

In your illustrious career, what stands out as the highlight?

Right now, it’s less about individual highlights and more about leaving a lasting legacy for future players. It’s important for me to grow and support those coming up behind me. My focus is on leaving a positive impact.

You’ve won the Copa America. How important would winning a World Cup be for you?

Winning the Copa America was immensely satisfying, especially after Brazil’s long wait for a major title. The World Cup is the ultimate dream, but it’s a tough competition with only seven games to make it happen. It’s a challenge every player aspires to, and it remains a personal goal.casemiro 4-min.jpg

Your recent move to adidas is significant. What led you to choose them?

It’s something I’ve considered for a long time. Having been with adidas at Real Madrid and seeing their commitment to players, it was an easy choice. I’m excited to contribute and be part of their team.

You’re going with the Predator boots. What attracted you to them?

Comfort was key. The Predator 24 boots fit perfectly and provide excellent comfort. I tried various models, but this one felt the best.

When you think of past Predators, which players come to mind?casemiro 9-min.jpg

Zinedine Zidane and Kaka are the two players I associate with the Predator boots. As a kid, I admired these players and wanted their boots, but they were out of reach for me at the time.

Outside of football, what do you enjoy doing?casemiro 5-min.jpg

I spend time with my family, play with my kids, and enjoy video games. I watch football constantly, and I’m also a fan of basketball. My routine is pretty standard: training, eating, and sleeping. I enjoy spending my downtime at home.
