The game began with a relatively even contest, though it was chaotic and lacked control until Casemiro’s lapses in judgment changed the course. His errors led to two Liverpool goals, leaving United with a significant challenge for the second half. Casemiro was substituted at halftime for Toby Collyer, making his league debut.

The challenge became even greater when Mohamed Salah scored, and Liverpool managed their lead comfortably without much effort.
